Golf Tips for Consistently low scores

Golfers are always looking to improve their game. These Golf Tips will drastically improve your game and give you the consistency you desire. Just by using a few I dropped 8 strokes. Now I’m not an avid golfer. Getting out twice a month is a feat in itself for me. But to drop those 8 strokes consistently by using some tips week after week was worth the effort. I feel more confident and enjoy being even with my peers. I could probably do better with more practice.

To give you a taste of what I did here are the tips I used;

First; I used this Golf Tip to contact the Center of the Clubface.

Everyone knows how much further the ball goes when you hit the sweet spot.

So there’s various ways to try to improve the consistency in doing that. You can get some powder foot spray and spray that on your driver. You will see instantly where you are hitting the ball on that clubface. Or you could get a red dry erase marker and draw a circle on the back of the ball you’re hitting, and then hit the back of that and it will leave a mark on your clubface. But here’s the thing…If you are doing that and just trying to consistently hit the middle of the clubface then you’re missing a trick. Find out that trick HERE!

Second; Golf Tips to speed up your swing

Now to swing faster you can do what is called overlapped or underspeed training. If you do this, you should use something within 10% weight of your regular golf driver. I used a piece of 1 n 1/2 inch PCV pipe cut 8 inches long and taped a 12 oz water bottle to it. You see baseball players taking a bat with that doughnut to swing when on deck. This is the same principle, getting your motion to be fluent and fast.

Third; Finding a target in the distance

To do that, find an intermediate target on the ground about 2 feet in front of your ball that is on a direct line to your target. Then setup to your ball by using the target 2 feet in front of your ball and then swing. This keeps you from lifting your head and losing focus on the ball.  Find out more HERE!

Last of my Golf Tips -Swing Balance Drill

golf tips

Good balance in the golf swing is so important to hitting the ball consistently well. So you want you to hit balls with your feet together to start with. Then once you’re used to doing that, add in holding your finish for 15 seconds. I had to build up to doing that, 15 is a long time to stand still. But it’s a good goal to have. Because when you watch a golfer who hits it consistently straight they all finish in perfect balance and can hold their finish for a long time. So if you want straighter, more consistent shots, hitting shots with your feet together and then holding your finish is a great way to practice consistently. Than on the course separate them of course.

These are just a few that I used. To find out more information just GO HERE.
